- My flash hider is stuck on my MP5-J Airsoft gun! HELP!?
I just got my MP5-J Airsoft gun in the mail today, and it came with a huge bulky, ugly flash hider that WILL NOT budge! It has two pins locking the knob so I can't turn it and remove it. I tried as HARD as I could to remove the pins so I could take off the huge orange tip. I used pens, needles, hammers + paperclip endings, and everything else! HELP ME! THERE IS AN ORANGE TIP BELOW MY FLASH HIDER THAT I AM TRYING TO REMOVE! THANKS FOR REMINDING ME THOUGH :D
A Are you sure they're pins? Most flash hiders are secured with grub screws which need to be unscrewed with an allen key (hex key). Most use a 1.5mm grub screw. Once the grub screw(s) are removed, the flash hider will normally unscrew (do'nt forget, they've got a negative thread, so turn it in the opposite direction to normal). Bear in mind that depending on where you are, it may be illegal to remove the orange tip.
