Mp5 Airsoft Gun Upgrade?

I have the Cyma MP5-J airsoft gun. In the directions it says that the iron sight can be unscrewed and replaced with a red dot sight. How would I do this? Wouldn’t I need a rail? Is there a sight that can be screwed on? Thanks.

note that the rail is mounted to the gun

NOTE: in reality this site is just an example…you can get this for like 10-20 bucks on ebay.
and for your info the rail is 20mm
and yes all red dot sights, scopes, lasers are all screwed on……..TO THE RAILING… which is screwed on to the gun.
